Putting Control Back in ESCP's Hands

The Ethical Supply Chain Program (formerly the Ethical Toy Program) is a global NGO and a member of the United Nations Global Compact.

Working with companies such as Walt Disney, Lego and McDonald’s - the Ethical Supply Chain Program’s bilingual site connects their user members with a wide range of resources. From capability-building programs to scalable worker well-being initiatives.

The Problem

ESCP found themselves constrained by a website built on Prismic. The marketing team struggled with the inability to make timely updates, which is crucial in their fast-paced sector. Each change required a lengthy process of emailing copy and waiting for a specific developer to implement it. ESCP needed a solution that allowed them to swiftly and independently manage their site.

The Solution

Recognising the need for agility and autonomy, we migrated ESCP's site from Prismic to Webflow. Webflow was the ideal choice due to its lightweight nature and robust CMS system that could be tailored to the exact needs of the ESCP team. This migration included:

  • Custom CMS: Designed to fit the specific requirements of ESCP, enabling easy content updates without technical assistance.
  • Localization: Utilizing Webflow’s localization features to support ESCP’s bilingual site, making it effortless to manage content in both English and Mandarin.

The project, though primarily focused on backend migration, also included minor design and UX improvements to enhance usability.

The Results

Since the migration, ESCP has experienced significant improvements in their website management:

  • Increased Autonomy: The team can now manage their website independently, quickly making updates as needed.
  • Efficiency: ESCP can update both the Mandarin and English versions of the site effortlessly -ensuring content is always current and optimized.
  • Confidence: With the ability to make immediate changes, the team feels more empowered and confident in their online presence.

Despite the size of the Ethical Supply Program's website - circa 300 pages English and Mandarin - we managed to migrate the entire digital platform in under a month. We also prioritized clear, jargon-free communication, ensuring the ESCP team felt supported and informed throughout the process.

TickX needed a new corporate website to better explain their diverse offerings to various stakeholders, such as Theatre Producers and Immersive Event providers, addressing concerns from investors about clarity and detail.

We led a workshop with TickX to define project requirements, conducted a brand immersion session, and developed wireframes focusing on an 'X' motif.
